“As I stood looking out over the meadow, a bicycle rider move swiftly from one side of my view to the other. Such a contrast of gentle perspectives and basically a fly-by. Everyone has their own perspective about being out in nature. If the bike rider enjoys the scene this way, that’s good. I painted Riding in the Park to relate to how we connect to nature.” – Jim Pescott
